New article published in Energy

We are happy to announce that the journal Energy (Elsevier) has published a paper by Jelena Ziemele, Elina Dace, Normunds Talcis and Ugis Osis.

Renovation of buildings and construction of new near-zero-emission buildings relate to the creation of low heat consumption density areas in cities. The article analyses the potential development scenarios of existing DH system by implementing multi-generative systems in such areas. The methodology is based on multi-criteria analysis allowing for energy, economic, exergy, and environmental (4E) assessment.

Many thanks to colleagues for their input and ideas in the article’s creation process.

The article will be available to everyone until June 27, 2021: https://doi.org/10.1016/j.energy.2021.120776
