The 3rd Estonian-Latvian Systems Biology Meeting ‘LATEST III’ was held in Tartu, Estonia on December 12, 2018. Previous meetings took place in Tartu (2009) and Tallinn (2011). During the meeting systems biologists from Estonia and Latvia present and discuss their latest research activities in systems biology. As in previous times, both experimental and computational research on different organisms, systems etc. was covered. We have decided to continue this tradition and the next meeting should be organised in Latvia.
