Workshop on incorporating adaption in labour and mortality impacts

With an excellent venue in Venice, Italy this year’s workshop on incorporating adaption in labour and mortality impacts into climate change modelling hosted 13 participants, our colleague Elina Dace among them.

The workshop was organized by the Proclias COST action Task Groups 3.2 and 3.11 with an aim to discuss how climate change impacts labour supply and labour productivity; how labour, organizations, and governments can adapt to climate change; and how to incorporate the impacts and adaptation into impact attribution models. Elina gave a presentation on the case of Latvia and how should business adaptation be included. In the second part of the workshop, assessment results of heat wave early warning systems and plans implemented in various countries were discussed.
