Training on constraint-based modelling

Since 2010, the Computational Systems Biology Group attends Constraint-based modeling courses with the COBRA software.

This year the five days course took place in Leiden. More than 20 participants enjoyed the old and beautiful Leiden, as well as lectures of trainers: Ronan Fleming, Leiden University, Brett Oliver, VU University Amsterdam Filipe Branco dos Santos, University of Amsterdam Agnieszka Wegrzyn, Leiden University, Katarina Noh, Forschungszentrum Jülich, Matthias Heinemann, University of Groningen, German Preciat, Leiden University, Anne Richelle, GlaxoSmithKline, Bas Teusink, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, and Ines Thiele, National University of Ireland, Galway.

The Computational Systems Biology Group visited the first COBRA courses in 2010 in Iceland. This year Elina Dace, Kristaps Berzins and Egils Stalidzans participated in the course enjoying high diversity of topics covering theory and practical works with the software spanning from biotechnological to medical applications.
