The leader of Biosystems group Egils Stalidzans becomes a director of the Institute of Microbiology and Biotechnology at University (MBI) of Latvia from July 1, 2016. The new position of Egils is a result of a long term collaboration between Biosystems group and the MBI since 2008. Egils Stalidzans will also continue working in the research projects at Latvia University of Agriculture.
